Ombuds Resource for Veritas Residents

Veritas has engaged Just SF, an ombuds service, to serve as a communication and resolution option for all Veritas residents to help resolve individual or community issues that may arise. This is an informal, confidential, independent and neutral option that is available to residents to discuss and identify solutions.

While Veritas seeks to satisfactorily address and resolve all resident issues or complaints, they are aware of the complexity of situations that may develop and have partnered with Just SF to enhance the resident engagement offerings with an eye towards resolution success.

This is an informal, confidential, independent and neutral option for Veritas residents to help address unresolved concerns. Just SF offers this additional support for Veritas tenants to help find resolution.

Definition of Ombuds work

An ombudsman, ombudsperson, ombud, or public advocate, by definition in general, is a person or office who is charged with representing the interests of the public by investigating and addressing complaints of maladministration.

The ombuds service for Veritas, Just SF, is established to provide a confidential, neutral, independent and informal process that serves to facilitate resolution of concerns that arise within the organization and with its tenant community.

Our Ombuds can provide information, discuss solutions and can act as a communication resource. Debra Walker has worked in the community as a tenant activist for over three decades.
